What are the diameters of Domino’s large, medium, and regular-sized pizzas?

Tom and Jim Monaghan in 1960 founded it. Initially, it was not called Dominos; instead, it was a restaurant named Dominick’s. They faced a lot of challenges in establishing their business, but today it has become the number 2 pizza chain in the world. In fact, Tom also wrote an autobiography stating his journey from one outlet to thousands today.

After a lot of research and study, they got the best ways to make pizza, and people started loving their quality. Then around 1968, they planned to open various stores and expand their business. In 1969, they opened 32 stores and took a big amount of loan to buy 85 new delivery cars. But, all his efforts got a fair result and proved to be very successful.

For more than 30 years, they just offered two sizes of pizza, just one soft drink, and 11 toppings. They had a belief that because of the small menu and simplicity, they were able to deliver a better quality pizza.

After fourteen months into the pizza business, he went for his first delivery and saw the women sitting at Margie’s reception desk. The good thing was that she agreed to the date, and after a couple of meetings, they decided to get married, and after that, she worked with him for decades.

In 1965, they had opened three Domino’s in Michigan, and these dots represented these three stores. Originally, they thought of adding dots on the symbol as they opened more stores, but they later changed their minds.

After many criticisms, they faced that their pizza has started tasting like cardboard, they changed their whole recipe. They saw a decline for a very long time but then in 2009, when they launched their new pizzas, people relished it, and they became successful again. Now, they offer a variety of pizza choices along with various sizes as well. The diameter of their pizzas in India is:

Small – 8″/ 20 cm.
Medium – 10″ / 25 cm.
Large – 12″ /30 cm.

Their standard box sizes are 8″ is a personal size, 10″ is small, 12″ is medium, 14″ is large, and 16″ is extra-large. NY Style pizzas are 18″ in diameter.
