4. What are Tertiary Colors?
Out of 12 colors present in the color wheel, the majority (½) is occupied by the tertiary colors. 5. What are Warm and Cooler Colors?

Colors have a psychological effect on humans and each color brings out different emotions. Besides the above category, colors are also classified based on the temperature or effect they give. They are divided into two categories, warm and cold colors.
The colors which are right next to red are called warm colors and the ones next to green are known as cooler colors. The colors under these two categories are fixed and are not variable. But for instance, hues from the same category can be warmer or cooler than one another. To give you an idea, the color red is warmer than yellow while yellow is cooler than red. 6. What Colour does Orange and Green Make?
