Is it possible to find someone on Facebook using their phone number?

    1. Yes it is possible to find someone on Facebook using their number

It is considered to be one of the easiest ways to find someone you know. You can use their phone number to find their Facebook account on Facebook provided they have linked their number to their account.

    2. On your mobile phone, download the app

Use the Facebook app to do it. Download the Android app from Google Play Store and the iOS app from the App Store.

    3. Click on the top right corner of the app

Click the small magnifying glass icon, and type in the number that you want to search. The format of the number does not matter as long as you’re entering the right digits.

    4. Tap the search button

The search button typically appears at the bottom right corner of the keypad of the phone.

    5. Find the account

The search engine on Facebook will typically return a single user that has the entered number registered with their account.

    6. If you don’t get any result

It might be due to the following reasons:

      1. The phone number of the person you’re trying to look for was set on private mode in his/her account or on their profile
      2. The person has not registered their phone number with their account
      3. A different phone number has been registered to their account
    7. Using your computer browser

Log in or sign up to your account on the Facebook website.

    8. Click on top of the page

Click on the search bar and repeat the same process that has been written for the mobile phone application version. (See Can you really see who viewed your profile on Facebook?)

    9. Area code might be required

If you’re using your browser to search for the person, you may have to enter the area code as well. This is not necessary for mobile devices.
