  • In 2008, Sarah Palin was introduced at the Republican National Convention as the partner of Senator John McCain. She gave a powerful speech during the event. Her words gave an immense boost to the election campaign.
  • While she occupied the post of vice-president, one of her primary duties was to give interviews to the press and journalists. During these interviews, she proved her expertise and knowledge of domestic and foreign policy. Yes, the land is visible from an island in Alaska. Because, after that interview, investigations were done to check the authenticity of the statement which eventually proved what she said was not wrong. The continent is visible from an Alaskan island named Little Diomede. This island is located in the center of the Bering Sea and towards the north of the Aleutian Islands.
