How can I access the desktop version of Facebook on my phone?

Since the upshot of mobile phones, people love using all their websites and apps on the phone instead of using it on desktop, and the same goes for Facebook. Its app is wonderful, but it lacks a few features from the desktop site. Even you open Facebook through the website on your phone and request the desktop version, it just resizes the mobile app.

It is the complete version of the Facebook website, which you open either on your desktop or laptop. On the contrary, the Facebook mobile app is mainly created for your mobile phones. It was created for making its usage easy as you do not have your laptops with you all the time, but you have mobile phones; thus, it can be used anytime and every time.

There are an array of benefits of the Facebook app because its users have increased immensely. Some of its significant advantages are you can go live, check-in into a place, upload photos easily from your mobile phone, post stories, interact in groups, and much more. Apart from the benefits, one of the biggest disadvantages is that you cannot link your mobile number with a Facebook account through your mobile version of Facebook.

a) Method one- You can use this method on any browser such as safari, chrome, or any other browser. The first thing you need to do is open the browser and then tap the URL bar at the top of your screen. Now, you need to put the following URL link www.facebook.com/home.php. Once Facebook opens, put your login credentials now, it will open the mobile web version. Don’t worry; clear the tab, or exit the mobile app. Again put the same link, and now it would direct you to the desktop version.

b) Method two- The next method is also very straightforward as you need to log in to your Facebook account, and it would open the mobile version; on the screen, you will see three dots on the top right side, click on it. You would get a lot of options; select the ‘Request Desktop’ option. It will open the desktop version, and now you would be able to see all the options that are not available on the app.
