    • 1993: Robert Louis-Dreyfus became the new CEO and together with Christian Tourres, he understood that the company needs a new direction. He made Adidas a marketing-driven company.
    • 1997: Adidas added new members to their team and acquired the Salomon group and its brands. The company’s name was changed to Adidas-Salomon AG.
    • 2001: Herbert Hainer became the new CEO of Adidas-Salomon AG, and the company started focusing more on innovation.
