What are the Ravenclaw House Colors?

Ravenclaw is one of the four houses in Hogwarts of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the movie Harry Potter. The houses are named after its founder named Rowena Ravenclaw. Especially the house of Ravenclaw is known for its courage, intelligence, wisdom, and wit.

The Ravenclaw’s motto is ‘Wit beyond measure is man’s greatest treasure.’ As Ravenclaw values creativity and learning, the house mascot of this house is an eagle.

Ravenclaw is represented by blue and bronze colour. As Ravenclaw corresponds to the air element, it is one reason why these colours were chosen for this house. Also, blue and bronze symbolize the sky and eagle feathers receptively. Furthermore, it points hourglass that consists of blue sapphires.

The other three houses of Hogwarts include Gryffindor that is represented with red and gold colour, Hufflepuff symbolized with yellow and black, and Slytherin is characterized by green and silver.
