    Luke fell while walking, broke his leg, had to go through a surgery, was given crutches and was asked not to put any weight on his leg for two months. Luke dropped out of classes and so had more time to help his little brother. He figured out his brother had to change his eating habits.

    Luke said that by just telling someone to change, the message won’t be properly understood and it will lose its effectiveness. Luke decided to make meals for his brother instead of just telling him that he needs to change his habits. He said it wasn’t easy to prepare meals while using crutches.

    Luke said the reason a dramatic change happened to his brother is that the environment was changed to match his goals. Luke said that when the environment doesn’t have the bad options, good options become the only choice. Luke said by doing so, will power is taken out of the equation.

    Luke said that by removing the barriers of success, the right decisions can be easily taken without problems. Luke was referring to the fact that by removing the bad options the barriers to success are removed and the road to success becomes easier.

    Luke said that to do this strategy for yourself, you have to promise yourself not to buy the unhealthy foods that trigger your bad eating habits, so that when the time comes and you feel like eating them, you find that the decision has already been made for you.

    Luke said you can once every now and then eat one of those foods but you should never store them at home for that can lead to triggering the bad eating habits.

  8. Luke asked people to get rid of their junk food at home

  9. Luke said his brother lost 5 pounds after the first 7 days

    Luke said his brother lost 5 pounds in the first week, 8 pounds in the second, 10 pounds in 20 days and after 36 days he averaged half a pound a day by losing 18 pounds.

    Luke showed a before/after picture of his brother showing a big change in a short period of time.

  11. Luke ended his speech
