What is a fluid ounce?
It is the term that is used for volume, Ounce for mass and they are distinct. A fluid ounce is an imperial unit and a US customary measurement system volume unit. Let us understand this by example, 1 fluid ounce of honey has a mass of around 1.5 ounces but 1 fluid ounce of water has a mass of 1 ounce. Therefore, if you man an ounce of fluid then you should always say ‘fluid ounce.’

What is a Pint?
It is an imperial and US customary unit. Its symbol is pt. 1 US pint = 16fl oz. and 1 Imperial pint = 20 Imperial fl. Oz.

How many water bottles are there in a pint?
As we know that 1 Us pint equals 16 fl oz. Now, for calculating the quantity of water in a pint you need to multiply the number of pints by 16 and divide it by the size of the water bottle in US fl oz. For example, for calculating how many 10 oz water bottles can fit in 6 pints:
6*16 /10 = 9.6.Therefore, 9.6 water bottles of 10 oz can fit in 6 pints.

How to convert fluid ounces to pints?
1 Us fl oz = 0.0625 pints. Thus, for converting it into pints you just need to multiply the value of fl oz by 0.0625 or divide it by 16. Let us get some more clarity on it with the help of an example,
If you want to calculate how many pints is 8 fl oz of water, then multiply 8 by 0.0625 which makes 8 pint is 8 fl oz of water.
Its formula is:
Pint= fluid ounce * 0.0625 or
Pint= Fluid ounce /16
How many fluid ounces are in a halfpint?
Half of a pint is equal to 8 fluid ounces, 1 cup or 16 tablespoons, i.e. 0.2 litres. (See How do you Type the Micrometre Symbol in Word?)
