1. What is the History of Camera?
The development of technologies leads to the development of chemistry and optics too. The world’s first camera was made by Alphonse Giroux in 1839. It was a daguerreotype camera, which used copper sheets for the print and a thin silver coat but, there were no negative films.
Later in the mid-1800, the use of photographic films was pioneered by George Eastman. He started manufacturing paper film in 1885, and towards 1889 he started the manufacture of celluloid. 2. Who took the first Photograph?

3. What is Digital Camera and What are its Functions?
It is a photographic device that produces and stores the image clicked into the memory card instead of a photographic film. The first digital camera was developed by a Kodak engineer, Steven Sasson in 1975.
- The camera recorded the picture on cassette tape within 23 seconds and the latest ones only took a few seconds to process. So the image clicked with a digital camera is instantly visible on the inbuilt screen.
- Steven developed it with some Motorola parts, a movie camera lens, and 16 batteries. He also included Fairchild CCD electronic sensors which were a new invention then.

- The processor chip is like a brain for a digital camera, and it controls all its vital functions of it. It is a part of the integrated circuit.

- Focal length is basically the distance between the lens and the sensor. The user needs to set it for a crisp image.
- The image sensor is the light detector that uses Charged Coupled Device (CCD) or Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) technology is an essential thing for how does a digital camera work.
- The lens is for catching the light from the object which you are capturing and it will focus it on charged coupled device. Lenses are available in different varieties like fixed-focus, optical-zoom, digital zoom, and replaceable lenses.

5. Which Lens is used in Camera?
Commonly cameras use a convex lens that has a large focal length. However, a variety of lenses are now available depending upon the type of camera and image you want to obtain from it. These lenses have their categories and they are:
- Prime lenses are the old school type because you cannot zoom in or out without them as this lens provides an amazing image for the focal length it came with. How does a digital camera work if you have a 35 mm prime lens, is it just by getting a perfect landscape photo as suggested by experts?
- Zoom lenses are the basic type of lens, that is, applicable for photographing everything. They are available in the range of 70 mm to 200 mm. But for capturing wildlife from a distance, professionals prefer lenses with a focal range of 18 mm to 270 mm.
- Wide-angle lenses have a wide focal field. It means your camera can see a wide area without zooming, and it is perfect for landscape photography. These lenses are available in the range of 16 mm to 35 mm, respectively.
- Telephoto lenses are available in the ranges of 100 mm to 600 mm or more. But at the same time, this feature makes them bulky and expensive for normal photography. It is mostly preferred by professionals, filmmakers, nature photographers, etc.

6. Do you Know the Working of a Camera?
When the button is pressed, an aperture opens, which allows the light streams to enter into it through the lens. It may look like an ordinary camera, but how does a digital camera work, is different from others as instead of a photographic film, a digital camera uses electronic equipment.
The light of the object is zoomed into the camera lens, and then it hits the image sensor chip. As the light hits the image sensor chip, the image it brought with it broke into million pieces, known as pixels.
